This complete history of the motor taxicabs includes information on the well-known cabs from Austin, Beardmore and Metrocab, and less well-known machines from Citroën, Nuffield and Unic, and a whole host of even more obscure vehicles, some of which never got past the prototype stage. Fully illustrated with many archive photographs and a colour centre spread featuring specially taken colour pictures, this book was the most comprehensive and analytical volume available on the subject to date
